On January 2, my family decided to gather. We were originally supposed to take a family portrait, all of us wearing Filipiniana.
But because we were incomplete, we moved the plan to another day.
Yet we agreed to just continue with the gathering as it was.
Everyone brought food based on what they wanted to share.
There was spaghetti, salad, chicken adobo, tilapia, etc.

For our part, we brought lumpia. We bought it from the night market, P5/$0.08 each.
Surprisingly, it was incredibly good.
So good that I didn't even get the chance to take a photo. 🫣
It disappeared in a minute. Poof... That's how you know it was a hit. Lol.
When Aunt Jing arrived, she was carrying a cake.
I was so happy to see a cake box, coz it's a CAKE!!
But when she opened it, there was a dedication:
"Happeeeh Anniversarae Ate Amyt and Kuya Jeff.”

I was stunned.
I wasn't expecting anything at all.
We had already celebrated our anniversary with my parents, so this completely caught me off guard.
I was blushing hard.
On the other hand, my hubby was calm. Nonchalant. Lol.

When I looked at him, he was smiling.
While my emotions were spilling all over my face, he was steady. 😆
My aunt was so sweet and thoughtful.
Even on our first anniversary, she was the one who financed the cake.
As our night continued, the alcoholic drinks came out.
The boys had their own kind of drink, while we girls gathered with our ladies' drinks.

What made the night extra funny was my aunties.
Every time they talked, it sounded like they were shouting.
Yet they were literally sitting face to face. Lol.
No one was arguing, they were just enthusiastic. 🤭😆
That night was messy and loud, yet it was full of life.
The kind of night I wish could last longer.
Until my next moment...
Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 💗🌸
