It was ASEAN Summit week, the story began with a series of road closure for world leaders including President Trump. I don't wanna get too detail into the political discussion, but let's focus on what it can bring me.
My job required to travel most of the time. Since driving in town during road closure will get me into serious traffic jam, so I decided to use public transport and do many walking.
My walk started early in the morning before the sun even come up, at the Desa Park City residential area.
My focus is not the park, but the pedestrian walk along the residential area. It provides a longer range/distance for me to walk. Usually, one full tour is about 7km crisscrossing within the community area, or I can easily double that by doing the opposite traffic again.
Due to many schools and private sectors declared it should be work from home day, there are not many people taking the MRT.
At that point of time, I have already obtained my minimum 10k steps. I absolutely love our local RapidKL system (if you prefer something familiar, Metro is the name for it) for allowing us to use all of their transport system with RM6 day pass.
It was lunch hour at the office. Me and few other boys that usually don't talk much, decided to head out and try this new cafe.
I think I take a little too much of sugar by ordering this Kaya Butter spread bun. My current health condition isnt really in a good shape to take such high sugar and oily stuff.
Tea is pretty darn good, even without sugar, the evaporated milk is decently added to the Lipton tea, company by a few small fish biscuit, weird combination but I don't hate it!
Egg toast the Hainamese version, not sure since when people started to add half boiled eggs on top of toast bread, so the runny egg can be absorbed into the bread. If you ordered this, it has to be consumed immediately. Once the egg started to get cold, it's going to be hell 🤣

I have never tasted sperm, but I definitely smells before, and you don't want your half boiled egg turn cold, or it will smells like sperm.
We shared one more peanut butter and Nutella toast, and I guess that way too much sugar for me in 1 lunch meal. Time to get back to work.
After some hours of desk work, it's time to head west to meet an old friend of mine for a birthday tea break.
The west side is connected by LRT instead. Good thing is, Rapid made all of them use the same day pass, so I can enjoy all transport by paying 1 price.
Most of the light rail are above ground, so this offer me more opportunities to take photos of the scenery.
This was probably one of the hottest day in a month since we have multiple days of heavy rain. We seldom seen the sun until this day.
I am not sure if you can feelt he heat from the screen, it radiating through the greenery and the smell of phosphorus cycle is really refreshing.
My buddy came to fetch me with a brand spanking new MG4 EV. Cutting edge technology! Super love the comfort and quiet ride.
Shizuku is a coffee shop in the industrial area. Price tag wise, quite expensive. A cup of coffee like this set me back RM13. Almost $4 if you convert. It's cost more than a latte at the Starbucks.
Discussion going well, again I need something to go down. The break I ate earlier already digested during the commute. Once again the half boiled eggs is there and I need to quickly get them down before it turn to smell strange 😂
Had a long conversation with my buddy and before I realized, sun is already setting. Despite the sky turning dim, but the scorching hot weather doesn't stop there.
I ended the day with 24k steps on my wrist watch and call it a day with 2 sweet potatoes as my dinner. So many carbs I have in one day 😂
