This is the part that I am sharing some of the craziest food journey during the day, when I will "cheat" myself for a "treat" 😂 I know I know, that's what makes high blood pressure high. I must admit, I have made enough excuses to myself to get me to this stage of health status.
Jom Rock Ipoh Yong Tau Fu
Jom Rock is a newly franchised restaurant originally from Ipoh, my hometown. I took a day off for making a new tint, visited my buddy at his used car dealer.

Our lunch was set at this restaurant at Sea Park. I have seen this shop several times previously, but never have I dare to try my luck until my buddy brought me here.

Red sauce rice noodles is the signature of Ipoh style Cheese Cheong Fun. The word cheese Cheong fun came from 猪肠粉, direct translate as pig intestine 😂 actually, it was made of rice noodles. Since the noodle being rolled, so it looks like pig intestine, so they call it that. Harmless, vegetarian. Absolutely meat free! Why is it signature, Ipoh is the only place in the country adobted the redness of the sauce. Other than this state, all other states uses brown sauce.

Yong Tau Fu in Chinese meaning stuffed bean curd. It's originally from the Chinese canton province, where the Haka clan uses meat paste to stuff into different kinds of veges and bean curds, not limited to buttergourd, ladyfingers, brinjal, crab sticks, you name it, they stuff it. It served in two styles, one being soak in soup, the other being deep fried. Of course I will always choose the less healthier ones 😂

Oh not forgetting Ipoh my hometown is famous with their white coffee. If you need to tear it down, it's just another way of saying flat white 😂 the difference is, this already served with sugar, where flat white is flat.
St.John cathedral

I've been commuting to participate in this Christmas choir once a week after work, me and wifey will be meeting here. Sometimes I will fetch her from the train station, so we can have dinner before the practice. Sometimes, if my appointment ends earlier, I will drive home and depart together with wifey. It's tiring to continue singing and coordinating in a choir for long hours, especially on a work day after working hours, but for what we hear from the practice recording, it was worth it.
Sushi Mentai
Sushi Mentai is one of the fastest growing sushi chain in Malaysia for the past 10 years. Other than the already well known Sushi King, I guess sushi Mentai is the one who topped that or equally familiar to the people of Malaysia.

A plate of tuna sushi duo like this starting from RM1.80. If you have to convert it, 40¢ is what you're paying for a plate of fine sushi like this.

Same goes with Kani Maki, a form of chobbed crab stick sushi 🍣 their food price are differentiated by the color of the plate. Yellow for RM1.80, blue for 2.80. I basically is cheap enough to gobble a couple of yellow plate to fill my stomach.

Garlic fried rice is extremely garlicky here. I am not exactly sure how Japan did it, I heard garlic fried rice is a Malaysian thing, since our japanese restaurants are usually one stop dinning experience, they will throw every cuisine into one menu, so there's always something fit anyone who a different diet preferences. Garlic rice is here to help fill in the stomach gap with cheaper price compare to sashimi.

Another highlight for sushi Mentai is their chawanmushi steamed egg. Their portion are normal, but the taste is marvelous. It's soft and warm to the stomach. With the price of below RM50, we fed the family of 4, including myself whome took up like ⅔ of the bill 🤣
Din's Deli

They're very famous with their nasi lemak, what I love most is their fried vermicelli. They don't do this no black sauce fried vermicelli everyday. Usually once or twice in a week. So, it's really about luck if we get to enjoy some good vermicelli.
Chicken rice at Cosway

Back in the 2008, my buddy Jeevan introduced me to this place for a chicken rice at RM2.50(a price of steal of 55¢). Fast forward to many years ahead now, after 17 years of inflation, shit has gone from almost nothing to RM12 a dish. In USD it's $2.66, may sounded like a lot, but it's still very affordable in Kuala Lumpur lifestyle. Moreover, it came with unlimited refill of rice, unlimited refill soup, and unlimited refill of Chinese tea.
Famous Toast

This place is strategically located at the Pavilion mall food court. According to my colleague, this was originally from Singapore. Good thing is, their price is quite reasonable, if we compare it with the rest of any other restaurants and or food hawker in the mall. For 2 pieces of anchovies pancake and shrimp pancake, 6 slices of fried bananas, and 2 milk coffee, this cost us RM18 for a quick snack. Seriously, inside the mall I can't even get bowl of noodle soup with that price.
Unrelated daily commitment

Checking in the current market price, it seems like the Hive is falling faster than ever. I know the HBD is unpegged from dollar, so both are falling at the same time. The rate is still maintaining in around 10 to 1 at this moment.

I've been consistently using convert function to remove HBD and get Hive instead. Come to think of it, should I start to practice 100% power up instead? Why would I create HBD in the first place? I don't know, I am still weighing the options, if I fully take profit from 100% power up, which means I can't have the option or flexibilities to move liquidity from one wallet to another.
