91 Kopidim is a new addition at the Kepong Lotus's since a couple of months ago. I've been trying to visit this place for a very long time.

We have an opportunity to visit this place with my daughter over the weekend as she had a sports day at school for half a day. After the event, we were struggling to think of a place for lunch and we decided to pay a visit here.

I ordered a coffee, egg and toast set for RM9.90. this kind of combination is a norm fr most coffee shops in Kuala Lumpur nowadays. Within RM10 to enjoy a breakfasts set is considered the price of steal.

Eggs are usually dip in boiling water for a couple of minutes in the shell. Before turning it into a boiled eggs, we usually fish them out and let the ambient cool it down a little before the egg white turn solid.

Kopidim also served convetional hainanese toast bread. It is very simple to recognise it because sandwich bread is usually squarish, and hainanese bread is rectangular and slightly thicker.

Toast bread is usually spread with Kaya and butter. There's also different type of Kaya paste available in the market. The brown colour is the original recipe, whereas there's an "improved" version of pandan Kaya wich is in green colour.

I personally preferred the original brown Kaya, wich is what they served herem after cracking open the half boiled eggs, gush of egg white and yolk splashes into the bowl.

After added soy sauce and white pepper powder into the eggs, it's time to dip the kya butter toast into the egg sauce and enjoy the savory and sweetness that explodes in my mouth.

Not forgetting the biscuit that served with the coffee. Traditionally, we local Chinese likes to dip almost anything into coffee, any pastry that soak, we like to do that.

And here's the proof. Note that the dark colour of the coffee, it's because the condensed milk are very sweet, so the shop usually wouldn't stir the coffee. It is nicely up to patron to decide if they wanted the full sweetness. I don't stir them.
Before I realized, the day had gone. I wasn't feeling too well. The evening is setting in, it's about time for dinner with my son.

Made no mistake, here we come aain for the 2nd time in a same day 😂 Evening crowd is heavy and there's no more table left in door.

Fortunately, there's enough space at the balcony and weather wasn't too hot. Added with enough fans at the corridor, it wasn't so bad sitting outside at all.

I've got my usual (ok that's exaggerated, its only my 2nd time of the day) half boiled egg, toast bread set,but this time wit tea instead of coffee.

Son is enjoying his plate of instant noodles. Indomie is one of the most significant Indonesian instant noodles in my country, since I grew up eating it, I can't possibly stop my kids from indulging in this type of processed food.
