Eating out at any hillside restaurant is alwsys enjoyable. It leaves us with fine imprint of quite memorable time. It is always important to find a nice place to eat. Generally at many hill station we do not have such restaurant that offers as well good ambience. But the presence of natural scenic beauty is enough to make the most of the time. But I remember enjoying some nice food as well as a proper ambience at Cloud country restaurant, situated in the laps of nature.
This collection was one of the finest memory well preserved since many years. And after a long time I found this picture in my hard disk. It is strange how saving the picture helps us to recall the wonderful moment enjoyed. We took this journey quite a long back. We took a small meal break, just at the edge of the click.
Finding such a beautiful resraurant is always surprisingly, but Meghlaya is quite famous for natursl wonders and this place is not different. The restaurant boasts a serene, picturesque location, a spacious parking area, and an aesthetically pleasing ambiance. The architecture, crafted from bamboo and thatch, complements the natural surroundings.
As we stepped inside the restaurant we startd getting some positive vibes. The place is very quite and the rustic bamboo and thatch architecture provides a unique charm to place. I never seen such a beautiful set up on the hills. The place was worth for a vist. We are yet to taste the food. But the initial time was worthful. After looking around the place we ordered some snacks. It is always good to have light meals on the hills to avoid any adverse consequences. The staff member were friendly and did took our order with grace.

The restaurant was a pure vegetarian. It serves delicious pure vegetarian food, featuring both traditional Indian dishes and innovative fusion dishes made with fresh, local ingredients. All the snacks that were served was tempting and delicious. I espcially likes the French fries and sandwich. The moment it was served on the table I was quick to take the first bite. Afterall what a hungry person need. After munching all the foods, we ordered tea for all of us. By the time, it was served, we changed our location went near to the cliff edge to get a view of the hillside. I must confess it was a mesmerizing.
While we were enjoying the view and taking some group pictures, the tea were served at the nearby table. It was pleasing to have some hot beverages right after some snacks meals right in the laps of nature.
Our overall experince with the place was satisfactory. We spent good amount of time in between our travel. It's a popular stop for travelers heading to Sohra (Cherrapunji), situated amidst the scenic natural beauty of Meghalaya, with lush green surroundings. In case you ever been to Meghalya do stop to enjoy delicious food.
