Hello, Hive Friends! 👋
I hope you’re all doing well today. Let me share with you a little story from last week Thursday, when I had an important agenda in the National Capital Region. My errands took me first to the PAG-IBIG Office and then to BPI Bank in Manila. After finishing those tasks, I realized it was already past the usual lunch hour; so I decided to treat myself to a late lunch before heading back home to Bulacan.
As someone who often dines alone when in Manila for onsite work, I made my way to The Landmark Food Court. This time, I chose Baliwag Lechon Manok, Atbp., a spot that never fails to satisfy cravings for classic Filipino comfort food.

I ordered:
• Pork Sisig (crispy, savory, and flavorful!)
• Plain rice (because sisig is never complete without it)
• Bottled water (simple but refreshing)

The overall cost of my meal was 175 pesos. I’m not entirely sure if that’s considered cheap or expensive for a food court meal in Manila, but for me, it was worth it after a busy day of errands.

It was a straightforward meal, but exactly what I needed. I also snapped a few random photos to capture the moment—because what’s a Hive blog without a little visual storytelling, right?
After enjoying my meal, I felt recharged and ready for the trip back home to Bulacan. Dining alone may sound ordinary, but for me, it’s a small ritual whenever I’m in Manila, my way of slowing down and savoring the day before heading back to my usual routine.
Thank you, Hive friends, for joining me in this little food adventure. I appreciate your time in reading my blog, and I look forward to sharing more of my eating-out experiences with you soon!
