They are. The community only buys organic foods. 😁 πŸ™ πŸ’š ✨ πŸ€™

It's good to know that your local community has (easy) access to markets selling organic foods (and likely drinks) !INDEED! πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈπŸ€—

I wonder if those markets have people that also off-grid (or at least trying to be). πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈπŸ€“

Most of the people that live in Lower Puna are off-grid. That's the norm here. 😁 πŸ™ πŸ’š ✨ πŸ€™

Does that mean that people who live on the island can also choose to be "on the grid" if they want to? πŸ€―πŸ˜…

Yes, in most parts of the Island, though there is no infrastructure for that in our area, so it's all off-grid. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

Perhaps there will come a time when the neighboring communities to your own local jungle community will ask (in exchange for something such as payment) for off-grid supplies (such as homegrown food and filtered water)! πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈπŸ˜

That happens for certain things occasionally. There needs to be a better trading and bartering network here. It does exist, but lots more is needed. 😁 πŸ™ πŸ’š ✨ πŸ€™
