Turning Snack Leftovers into Happiness: A Morning Mission at My Beloved Garden Home 🌿🦆
Hello everyone!
Today, let's escape the hustle and bustle and head to the garden to complete a mission: bringing happiness to our little ones.
After finishing the housework, it's just before noon, time to hit the road!
Our first destination, which is a must-do, is a stop at my relative's pastry factory to pick up some "snack rescue mission." The factory sorts through expired snacks (but still excellent food for animals), whether it's mooncakes, bread, or fragrant cake crumbs. Today, we were very lucky and got two big bags – a whole carload!
On the way to the garden home, the atmosphere was perfect. A bright blue sky interspersed with soft white clouds, a gentle, cool breeze, and just the right amount of sunshine made me want to capture some photos of the scenery along the way to share with you all.
Upon arriving at the garden home... the adorable chaos began

"Leftovers" are "Overflowing Happiness" in our Garden Home 🏡🌳
"This morning in the garden, the weather is so nice that I want to share this happiness with everyone...
Besides the birdsong and the gentle breeze, another small source of pride for us is practicing 'Zero Waste' in our garden home. Today, we received leftover expired snacks from the factory. Instead of letting them become trash, we turned them into a special meal for our four-legged and two-winged companions in the garden.
Seeing the little ones happily munching on the snacks fills my heart in an indescribable way. This garden home is not just a place to rest our bodies, but also a space for sharing, a place where we intend to nurture nature and the living things around us to grow together sustainably.
Because happiness... begins with giving and paying attention to the little things around us.
My husband and I quickly opened the snack bag. As soon as the bag creaked, the ducks, chickens, and geese rushed over. Not only that, but the local "catfish" that survived the flood in the pond have grown much bigger and seem to particularly enjoy the leftover snacks. Besides snacks..." I also supplement this with prepared rice to ensure the children on our farm receive complete nutrition.

After the animals' meal, we continued exploring the garden. Today, we were a little surprised not to find the duck gang. We walked around and only found traces of "white eggshells," which seemed to be the work of local birds that had secretly come to steal a taste of them.
Before heading home, we didn't forget to harvest some natural produce. We got a large bunch of ripe bananas, which we cut and placed on the cart to ripen further at home. Meanwhile, my husband diligently surveyed the area to plan the next round of grass cutting, so that our garden would always be clean and tidy.

We ended today's trip on a positive note. On the way back, we spotted a cute little neighbor cat playing by the roadside. He seemed very friendly, so we snapped a few photos to share with everyone as a final treat.

Thank you to all my friends who have been following and supporting my life at the farm. See you again in the next post! ✨💖
