🏗️ Saturday, but not a public holiday: A hectic mission to renovate the front of the house to welcome a beverage shop! 😘🫶🏻
Hello, my lovely friends! 😊
While many people enjoy Saturday mornings of rest, for me today, it's a day of urgent tasks. This is because the plumbing work in front of the house isn't finished yet, and the contractors are scheduled to pour cement in front of the house today. My husband and I had to wake up early to clear the area against time to meet the deadline.

🛠️ From the garden to the front yard, this is a DIY handyman project. We even got some help from relatives! Besides a hoe and a bucket for the soil, our main tools were formwork to create a boundary for the cement pouring. My husband and I quickly drove to the garden to feed the pets and took the opportunity to rummage through some old, leftover wood from the farm to use as formwork. As soon as we got back home, the task of building the rectangle plan began. Even though I'm not very skilled in structural work, I tried my best to help my husband. I was a little worried, though, because there were other housework tasks and taking care of my mother still waiting. But the excitement of seeing a beautiful and tidy front yard gave me the motivation to get it done!

🌸 Taking a break to prepare the shop and a relaxing corner: Seeing that relatives were helping my husband, I asked permission to take a break and take care of the most important part: getting ready to open the beverage shop. I started by cleaning and mopping the house, preparing food for my mother, and feeding the little pets in this house.
While waiting for the cement truck to arrive (which we expect we'll have to spread ourselves once it arrives), my husband and I used this short break to arrange a small garden in front of the house. We helped trim the yellowed and withered branches, arranged plants around the white statue to make it look fresher, and created a relaxing atmosphere for customers who will stop by today.

🍲 A power-boosting lunch before the big mission!
Looking at the time, the cement truck still hadn't arrived, so I hurried into the kitchen to make a simple but energizing meal for lunch. Today's menu is pork and bamboo shoot curry with coconut milk and banana blossoms, and stir-fried radish with eggs. The aroma filled the whole house! After eating with my husband, we're now sitting and waiting anxiously for the cement truck to arrive.
Today's activities might be tiring and hectic, but it's a happy kind of tiredness because it's about building a workspace and improving our living quarters.

Thank you for all your continued support and encouragement, my friends. See you again in the next post! 🫶🏻😘😉❤️🙏🏻
