Hello, my lovely friends.
This morning, the weather in Trang Province was uncooperative. It's been drizzling since morning. But despite the rain, life must go on. I've been incredibly busy this morning, taking care of my pets, my beloved mother, preparing breakfast for her, and getting my daughter off to school. Even though I'm limited on time, everything went smoothly. After the morning's hectic pace, it's time to relax and recharge with some delicious food.
Today, we're featuring a delicious, spicy, and super easy-to-make dish: "Mixed Glass Noodle Salad." This is a family favorite, perfect for those times when the restaurant isn't busy, when we can spend time cooking delicious food together.
We use fresh ingredients and load up on meat and vegetables for this dish, guaranteed to please everyone in the family. Let's take a look at the recipe and how to make it.
Raw materials and ingredients
- 1 package of glass noodles (or as much as you like)
- 5-7 fresh shrimps
- 100 grams of minced pork
- 1-2 sausages (cut into rounds)
- Ham as desired
- 1-2 tomatoes (cut into pieces)
- 1-2 shallots (thinly sliced)
- 1 stalk of celery (cut into pieces)
- Lettuce, for garnishing
Ingredients for the dressing
- 5-10 bird's eye chilies (coarsely ground)
- 3 tablespoons fish sauce
- 3 tablespoons lime juice
- 1-2 tablespoons palm sugar
- 1 tablespoon pickled garlic juice (for extra flavor)
How to make it
- Prepare the ingredients:
- Soak the glass noodles in water until soft, then blanch them in boiling water until translucent. Then, place them in cold water to prevent them from sticking together.
- Boil the fresh shrimp and ham until cooked. Set aside and drain.
- Make the delicious dressing:
- Combine fish sauce, lime juice, and palm sugar in a mixing bowl. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
- Then add the pounded chilies and garlic pickle juice. Mix well. Taste and adjust the seasoning to your liking (sour, salty, sweet, spicy).
- Mix all ingredients:
- Place the boiled glass noodles in a mixing bowl.
- Add the shrimp, minced pork, wood ear mushrooms, sausage, and tomatoes.
- Pour the dressing over the salad and gently toss to combine.
- Arrange and serve.
- Place the mixed glass noodle salad on a plate lined with lettuce.
- Garnish with chopped shallots and chopped celery.
- Serve with other fresh vegetables such as cucumber and cabbage.
See how easy it is to make? Plus, it's a perfectly delicious glass noodle salad with the chewy texture of the glass noodles, the freshness of the shrimp, and the spicy, tangy dressing. If you're looking for a delicious dish to share with your family on a holiday, give this a try.
For today, I must say goodbye, my friends. See you again next time. Thank you for following and supporting me. Thank you very much.
