✨🧄🥬A Familiar Community Market Atmosphere 🍉💞
Hello, my lovely friends!
Today, I'm taking you to experience the bustling atmosphere of Rungruangkit Market, a favorite market in the village of Na Talung Subdistrict. Our journey today was simple and incredibly atmospheric. My husband and I chose to ride our trusty motorbike (saleng) from home, a distance of only about 1 kilometer. Along the way, I enjoyed the cool breeze while taking pictures of the scenery until we reached the Na Talung traffic light intersection, where the market is located.

Stepping into the market, I can honestly say this is a foodie's paradise! It has everything from fresh meat like pork and clear-cut fish to stalls overflowing with fresh vegetables. Without hesitation, I quickly grabbed a few meat and vegetable items to stock up on for cooking this week.

Walking a little further, you'll find a section with very tempting ready-to-eat food, including delicious curries in bags, spicy salads, drinks, and snacks. They even have seating areas in booths, creating a nice atmosphere. But one thing that caught my eye and I had to photograph was the solar-powered lamps on the market roof. I'm thinking of installing some at home, so I tried to observe their brightness, but it seemed that because it was daytime, the light wasn't very bright yet. I'll have to go back home and do some more research on that.

Before heading back, I didn't forget to buy some of my daughter's favorite foods: hot fried meatballs and fragrant grilled fermented pork sausage. I also bought some ready-made curry paste and shrimp paste, essential ingredients for Southern Thai cuisine. My final mission before starting my motorbike and heading home was to stop at the pet food store across from the market to buy some rice for my pets at the farm and a case of bottled water to take back with me. It was a trip where I got everything I needed for both myself and my animals!

Rungruangkit Market (Na Talung Intersection)
Rungruangkit Market, or as locals often call it, Na Talung Intersection Market,
is located in Trang Province (but the busiest and most bustling period is on the days of the big weekly market).
Opening and closing times: Stalls start setting up in the late afternoon, around 3:00 PM onwards, and it's busiest between 4:30 PM and 6:30 PM (evening after work). The market starts to wind down or close around 8:00 PM.
Highlights: It's a source of fresh food, dried food, and ready-to-eat meals at affordable prices, easily accessible, and located right on the main road at the intersection, making it very convenient to get to.
Hopefully, today's market exploration will make you feel excited and want to try exploring the market with me!

For today, I have to go prepare a meal using the fresh ingredients I bought. See you again in the next post. Thank you for your continued support and followings.
Goodbye! ❤️🍉🥬🧄🙏🏻
