Hello people!
So yeah, this is about how Sunday was perfectly spent.
On Saturday, I had planned to sleep very early so I could have enough rest before waking up early for Sunday church. But Saturday night came, and I still found myself awake till midnight. Doing what? I was having a conversation with someone through chat.
Sunday morning:
Despite sleeping late, I still woke up around 5:00 am to prepare for church, which starts at 7:00 am, but I needed to be there by 6:45 am at the latest. I didn’t want to arrive late as has been the case with my routine lately. So, right after spending a few minutes making my very early morning Hive post, I went straight into preparing for church. I got to church exactly at the time I wanted, and I felt good because, for once, I wasn’t late.
During church:
Mehn, church was fun, and I was truly blessed, especially since I was involved in some duties in the church. But hey, hunger didn’t leave me out of it at all. We stayed for a long time, and hunger showed up terribly. I had to resort to buying a soft drink to quench it a bit, and guess what? After I finished the bottle, I found out that the drink had expired three months ago!
"Anyways, disease cannot kill an African man."
That was my conclusion, and I forgot about the fact that I had just taken an expired drink. Honestly, disease cannot kill an African man — and I’m an African. Lol.
Party after church:
When we closed, my church group headed to the house of one of our members who dedicated their newly born babies in church. We got there, and we were well entertained with takeaways of rice and soft drinks. It was all fun and joyful. I made sure to take a lot of photos of us while we were having fun.
Thanks for reading.
