„The common sulphur mushroom (Laetiporus sulphureus), also known as Chicken of the Woods, is edible when young and tastes similar to chicken when cooked. Young, juicy specimens should be preferred, as older mushrooms become tough, brittle and inedible. The mushroom must not be eaten raw as it contains oxalic acid and is not digestible. However, some people may experience stomach problems or allergic reactions after eating them.
