You can install both on your Linux desktop OS, then switch between the two depending on the tasks to be done (for the day). 😅

True but many apps get confused on how to manage files, like you are on KDE and it launch the gnome file-chooser when you try to open a file and such. Running multiple runtimes is not that great because it burns a lot of your RAM.
I mean that the user would switch to another desktop environment after first closing the one that is currently running !INDEED to save RAM space. 🤓
