A few days ago, my wife casually invited a couple "over for a drink." The other woman, said "Great, I'll bring dessert." Somehow, over for drinks was turned into a full-fledged dinner party kind of thing. Been planning/preppin' for a couple of days. A get-together with a drink got busy and got expensive! It's all good though, tonight is the night.

One of my favorite dishes is from Thailand, in the restaurants it is sometimes called Palace Special. It is chicken onions celery and red pepper sauteed with peanuts cashews in lime juice.
Chimichurri blends cilantro, garlic, onion, vinegar, lime juice, olive oil, and spices—perfect for meat or bread.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup fresh cilantro (finely chopped)
- ½ cup fresh parsley (optional, or more cilantro if not available)
- 6 garlic cloves
- ¼ cup white vinegar or coconut vinegar
- Juice of 1 lime or sour orange
- ½ cup olive oil
- ½ white or red onion
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp ají cachucha or chili flakes (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Finely chop the garlic, onion, and herbs—or pulse them in a food processor.
- In a bowl or jar, mix the vinegar, lime juice, salt, pepper, and oregano.
- Slowly stir in the olive oil until it all comes together.
- Let it rest for 15–30 minutes so the flavors can bloom.
This is the original rain for the year, Respect June, July, August for raining they will give it to you in a heavy weight way.
I don't know why some people feels it's weird not wanting kids. Hopefully, I will meet a partner who shares the same values. I just want to make money, travel and enjoy every moment on earth.
I don't think it's weird to not want kids, but I do think it's weird to think you can't do the things you want if you have them.
If you raise them right, they can make every one of the things you want to do easier.
I am not thinking that I will not be able to do things I love when I have kids. It's just that I have been a caregiver at every point of my life to three members of my family..I love them so much but I don't have it in me to be responsible for another human. I just want to be free and enjoy the rest of my life on earth.

That must be so fragrant and smells so good. The more we love to hug and cuddle our fur baby with that kind of fresh smell. 🙂 And much better if it's organic.

yes , but the audacity to hold on and look back is human nature but if we learn to let go and not to look back life will be much easier

Looking around...where is "Ecency chat"? I'm guess there is an npub associated with it and that npub shows hive actions on nostr (?), but I don't see the chat here.
Finally found it...I thought "Ecency center" meant in the center of the Ecency screen. (that name!). 😀
