Two things: history and religion. Both were manipulated, and it took my quite a lot of time to learn. The society may call me a delinquent by now, for my rebellious nature. But yeah, I found the intital beliefs and teaching wrong; so I just read, researched and followed that pathway.

That's quite a journey. It takes courage to question beliefs you've grown up with. Looking back now, was there one particular discovery that made you realize your old beliefs could no longer hold up?
You cannot "question" because your ancestors have been following it for centuries. This questioning thing turned everything upside down for me, it was the beginning of my journey. Why accept something which does not seem right?

I feel that the questioning is healthy. The difficult part is knowing whether we're uncovering the truth or just replacing one belief with another
