oh no, I dont really play anything (though i wish I did)... I just run into unique sounding music more often than most hehe.
This instrument is called Yaybahar, invented in Turkey in 2014.
Cosmo Sheldrakes, I just gave it a listen, love the soundscape!
Can't say I feel any urgency listening to his music (in this particular album). It's rather playful and relaxing has a kind of childhood quality about it.
But I do get the aspect of raising awareness of ocean life.
just listened to his newer stuff, Eye to Ear - definitely like... lightly reminds me of Alt-J, but more relaxed.
