Commenting is hard work apparently. Unless it's on a popular person's posts where some of it is genuine interaction and a lot of it seems to be people just trying to "get noticed".

Everyone wants a place in the sun, but many people only seek it in the shadows of others.
That's rather profound :) I always figured it was because it's one of the most common blogging rules.
Yes, this is nothing new in this field. Therefore, if many people still act this way today, it means that a lot still needs to change.
That's quite sad to be honest. 😞
I've been seeing "new" blogging "rules" now encouraging being personable and more "you" instead of trying to appear as a "professional" in a "niche" so I guess "everyone" is a bit over them but the shift will be slow.
Eventually, things always change. We just need to learn how to deal with them.
