Not in the compound where all the houses are. We are surrounded by miles and miles of forest though that allows hunting during the fall season.

Yeah, it is common. They pretty much live here. It's a compound of about 100 homes on 1 acre lots in the middle of the forest. They are always wandering through, grazing, resting. :)

I'm living proof that I came to Snaps through the iteration I had with @shiftrox in November.
I had no idea it existed here and now I realize it's the best platform for engagement on Hive.
Spreading the word is the best way to get more people to come to Snaps.
For the onboards I've managed to make, I've explained that you can make long posts and use snaps as a kind of X/Twitter, but even so there's been little adoption. For the people who are already on Hive, and especially the Brazilians, I've been calling them straight to snaps.
2/ But this is something I've been talking about with @wiseagent directly, it seems that snaps is behind waves and inleo threads, we need to think of something to bring more people here, Brazilians I think are appearing more frequently here after all the talk.
Honestly, with all the benefits and features of Snaps, I don't know how this project is still so unpopular around Hive. This is kinda sad.
Exactly, that's the craziest thing of all, I can't understand it. I think the speed of everything here is a plus. The interface of inleo and waves are much longer than here. There's interaction, rewards, I think there's a lack of marketing to really attract people.
You've certainly seen that some Brazilian faces have started to appear here, people who didn't even know about SNAPS. The thing is to keep showing the results, numbers for those who like it and in conversation (reputation) for those who still have doubts
I think some Brazilians are starting to realize Snaps because we are making great progress here (which is an awesome thing).
Since we lack good algo's for content discovery, the simple fact there's a "Newest" tab on here is the closest thing we have to a solution.
Of course, it's a great way to meet new people, engage quickly, I like it all, I've gained many followers through snaps and I'm simply passionate about interacting here.
One point could be missing diversity, some people might be on snap that you never encounter on the regular Hive universe.
I would probably focus on talking about visibility (both of the account itself and of the published content), and all the kind of rewards (not just financial) that can be achieved here. It would certainly be a good start.
They are missing out on bringing their WhatsApp experience to the blockchain. I mean that is how I feel about snaps and threads.
When life hits us hard, let us remind ourselves to go to nature and reflect. It's always beautiful to have this view in the countryside. Life will still be beautiful. 😊

I just noticed a tiny pitcher that was hidden in between the leaves of my Nepenthes (Money Jars) plant.
The pichter is already about 3 centimeters tall. How could I have missed that!

Yes you can follow a trail or start your own. I use to use https://hive.vote/# but haven't in a few years. There is a discord link on that page so that may help you find out more. Just watch your VP if you join a trail. It can use it up fast. :)

Mine didn't start off so well... I had to take my baby to the public hospital and unfortunately, in my area, the services are terrible. Almost an hour passed and she wasn't even called for triage.

From looking at the photo: The towers seems to be real, the horse and jockey look artificial. BTW: how do you get a horse to do the stunt? The only possibility is brute force!
Supposedly the horses enjoyed it, in the end the horses jumped alone, without rider and no force applied.
I did some research after I cast the (wrong) vote.
These activities took place for decades and were stopped not only, but also because of concern for the horses. But the story goes that a few jockeys were injured in all those years, but never an animal.

De forma bem resumida, são os snaps que mais engajam, por exemplo esse aqui do wise, com certeza vai dar uma boa recompensa, porque tem muita gente comentando nele e tal, o basicão é esse. Vou tentar encontrar algo que ajude a entender melhor como funciona.
Além do que foi dito pelo shift, jogar upvotes nos peakd containers (publicados pelo perfil do @peak.snaps) ajuda muito. Interação continua sendo a chave do sucesso, seja nos seus próprios snaps ou nos snaps dos outros usuários.
A matemática completa continua sendo um mistério.

Some reward values are great, others not so much (but they're still important anyway). I hope there is better consistency in these upvotes, and that more users discover the importance of participating in this project every day (preferably).

I think it's incredible, it feels like I've done nothing much and I've just been rewarded for it! I love being here talking to people and these rewards are helping me so much, I'm taking a lot of this hive and making PU or buying L2 tokens.

That's pretty good. Seeing a few others sharing similar earnings. I haven't been using Snaps as much lately. I hate the idea that I might feel like I'm spamming for rewards and more focus on the engagement. The odd Hive or two is nice to see though!
This part of spam is really complicated, but I think it's something that can happen on any microblog we have here and it depends a lot on the person, I always try to make responses with as much integrity as possible, I also don't like spam with short returns.
I'm really surprised by these amounts, it's something that really makes me happy, it's like a reward for engaging well with people. The good thing is that most of it I reinvest in HP or something else from hive itself.

I can only imagine what it must be like, my mother is also a teacher, I think she's been teaching for over 20 years (I'll check) and she never stops, not even on weekends, she has to grade tests, keep a diary of grades, prepare activities, it's a lot!
It's tougher for teachers who work at school, that's for sure. I don't have to do a lot of documentation or grading in my job. I only have to send lesson notes after the class. I do have to create materials for my classes outside my main job, though... ^^
I get it, any teacher's life is busy and hard, isn't it? It's a profession that always needs to be valued, without teachers there's no knowledge that can be passed on!
My mother said that in May she'll be 30 years in the profession!

I knew this one wouldn't be the best, but it was a nice experience still. I'll be checking out the one in Yerevan in a few months, hopefully that's a bit better.
I certainly have and made sure my young ones didn't misbehave. Lots of accidents and mishaps occurred because parents allowed their children free rein.

The weird thing was that the parents/adults were just as bad as the kids. That's actually even worse given you'd think they'd have more awareness. Like not smoking in a zoo, especially with signs saying not to. Or not trying to feed animals and knock on their glass panels.
I've seen that too. And this one...hoisting kids up and standing near the enclosures when any moment they both may topple over or cause some other accident.

My email is like this xxx.yyy@gmail.com, so I changed it to another without a period and it worked.

I voted yes, but in this case what I can say is that AI is here to stay, there's no going back. I keep hearing is that in the future, the ones who will have guaranteed jobs will be those who know how to use AI best and those who refuse to use it will only be left behind.
2/ It's a controversial subject and always will be, but humanity is like this now, before and after AI, so I think it's silly at times for people to ban the use of AI in things, there's no turning back, that's it. On hive I agree that posts should be made primarily by humans.
People who doesn't take advantage of it is missing something, but never kill your own creativity! Do not fully rely on AI:)
