i remember american indian with this type of shelter.. poccahontas is one of the those shows that i recall this
Yes, it was a common shelter for indigenous peoples of western North America.
its trully is a good design for a shelter. Not like todays overly extravagant things.. :)
Yeah. North america it is.. but this huts might not be fitted for the cold.. just wonder how the people can stay
They actually had fires inside with smoke flaps on the top and the shape would funnel the smoke up and out. Lots of fur blankets too I'm sure. :)
That's where my thoughts went seeing these by the creek. What it must have been like when those were the main type of shelter.
