The heat can cause issues as the metal expands. My short journey is generally okay.
There are a lot of problems with trains in Germany.
Many years only minimum investment.
It is like an old car, with every year you get more problems.
I have used trains in Germany. They did not seem much worse than the UK, but some got cancelled due to flooding on one trip. This is vital infrastructure and ought to get investment.
