How's this summer ๐ŸŒž treating you ?

Mine is worst ๐Ÿ˜”

Because I can't afford an air-conditioning unit, and even bills ๐Ÿ’ธ, because electricity is getting very expensive in Pakistan.

I live on top floor so my rooms feels like an oven even the fan blows heating air. One of my friends gave me her air room cooler as per her statement I'm not using so it return it when weather changes, so I got happy that now I can sleep in peace ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

Because my nights were terrible, and sweaty ๐Ÿฅต.
( Room air coolers are best for Punjab, Balochistan and KPK regions because of dry summer, not workable in Sindh province because there is a humid weather)

But my happiness lasted only for a month. Two days before she called me that I need my air cooler back, she came and took it back ๐Ÿค” .

For the last couple of days I'm boiling,
taking shower after every 15 to 20 minutes, using prickly heat powder all over me ๐Ÿค—.

I add yogurt in my meals to keep me cooler.
This storyline is shared with you because my hive family also enjoys the best yogurt recipe specially for hot summers.

Trust me you will love it , (Nataar) is basically from Afghanistan available in Balochistan only, not known in any other provinces.

My nani (grandmother) used to make it, then my mother, every summer afternoon when we came back from school there's a big bowl of Nataar served at the table with large glass of Namkeen Lassi (buttermilk drink).

After having this combo you feel relaxed, and sleepy.

Here is the recipe, I insist please once give it a try, and share your experience.

Ingredients:

Yogurt 2 cups
Naan ๐Ÿซ“ one large
Dry mints
Salt as per your taste
Red onion, one large
Cucumber 2
Green mints leaves
Coriander leaves
Crush garlic cloves 1 or 2 optional

Chop onion, cucumber, mints and coriander finely.

Take one cup of yogurt pour in a large bowel, add one cup of water mix well, add salt, garlic and dry mints, mix well.

Turn naan ๐Ÿซ“ into small pieces and dip into yogurt mixture, keep in refrigerator for an hour.

Take another cup of yogurt, add onion, cucumber, coriander, mints mix well ( keep in refrigerator too).

After an hour take out the naan bowl add the onion and cucumbers mixture mix well add few ice cubes.

My narration of recipe is not perfect but I bet you will love it ๐Ÿ˜.
