The best breakfast experience

A few weeks ago I had to get up early with my aunt to take her to a medical checkup, we went prepared with our respective Venezuelan breakfast, arepas with ham and cheese and ate it before 7, after hours we left the office at 11 am with a big appetite and as I am not from the area I asked where we could buy something, I was recommended the Sarandonga bakery.

Upon arrival I saw a bakery with nothing that made it stand out, they have a simple entrance and from the outside it looked dark, but upon entering its smell of freshly baked bread invited me to look carefully at the breakfasts they offered, among the options there were cachitos which are baked bread stuffed with ham, taquitos which is a puff pastry dough filled with cream cheese and ham also, we chose the last option with coffee with milk.

After ordering we sat down to wait and soon after a young lady arrived with her uniform neat and well presented, she took what we ordered to the table, I noticed that the cup of coffee was big and it looked foamy, there was a mixture of exquisite smells and my aunt was very excited, she showed expressions of astonishment and joy, it seemed that she had never been served before, It gave me so much tenderness to see her like that that I don't know how to describe her gestures, the good thing is that the young waitress noticed and began to treat her like a queen, she put her coffee and then her taquito, then returned to the table and put some sauces, my aunt was pleased and I noticed that a stranger had never treated her with so much kindness and service.

That gesture of service gave a plus to the breakfast, I felt grateful to the young worker for being so nice to my aunt. We started to eat and wuaoo what a rich breakfast, the coffee was at its point of coffee and milk and the foam looked like very tasty cream, I remember while I was tasting it I thought what a rich coffee, the taquito with cream cheese melted by the heat also made me sigh, the size of the taquito and the coffee were perfect for a normal eater.

After breakfast I took a good look around the place; the cups and pots on the table had the bakery logo and there were bathrooms for each sex, something unusual that not all bakeries have, it was empty, but just as we were leaving people started to arrive. We left satisfied and happy and I left with the commitment to take my aunt to more places to live the experience of being served, I hope God helps me with that commitment.

Hace unas semanas me tocó madrugar con mi tía para llevarla a un chequeo médico, nos fuimos preparadas con nuestros respectivos desayuno venezolano, arepas con jamón y queso y lo comimos antes de las 7, pasadas las horas salimos de consulta a las 11 am con mucho apetito y como no soy de la zona pregunté dónde podíamos comprar algo, me recomendaron la panadería Sarandonga.

Al llegar vi una panadería sin nada que la hiciera destacar, tienen una entrada simple y desde afuera se veía oscura, pero al entrar su olor a pan recién horneado me invitó a observar con atención los desayunos que ofrecían, entre las opciones había cachitos que son panes rellenos con jamón horneados, taquitos que es una masa de hojaldre relleno de queso crema y jamón también, escogimos la última opción con café con leche.

Después de pedir nos sentamos a esperar y al poco tiempo llegó una joven con su uniforme arreglado y bien presentada nos lo llevó a la mesa lo que pedimos, noté que la taza de café era grande y se veía espumosa había una mezcla de olores exquisitos y mi tía estaba muy emocionada mostraba expresiones de asombro y alegría, parecía que nunca la habían servido, me dio tanta ternura verla así que no sé como describir sus gestos lo bueno es que la joven mesera se dio cuenta y comenzó a tratarla como a una reina, le puso su café y luego su taquito, después regresó a la mesa y le puso unas salsas, mi tía se sentía complacida y noté que nunca un extraño la había tratado con tanta amabilidad y servicio.

Ese gesto de servicio le dio un plus al desayuno, me sentí agradecida con la joven trabajadora por ser tan linda con mi tía. Comenzamos a comer y wuaoo qué rico desayuno, el café estaba en su punto de café y leche y la espuma parecía crema muy sabrosa, recuerdo que mientras lo probaba pensaba que rico café, el taquito con queso crema derretido por el calor también me hizo suspirar, el tamaño del taquito y el café eran perfectos para una persona que come normal.

Después de desayunar observé bien el lugar; las tazas y los potes de la mesa tenían el logo de la panadería y habían baños para cada sexo, algo inusual que no todas las panaderías tienen, estaba vacía, pero justo cuando nos íbamos comenzó a llegar la gente. Salimos satisfechas y felices y me fui con el compromiso de llevar a mi tía a más lugares para que viva la experiencia de ser atendida, espero que Dios me ayude con ese compromiso.
