Bakso Masa Sekolah means meatball senu served by schools canteen, especially in high schools. I am very interested in this eatery that specifically sells bakso (meatballs).
Especially last month in October, there was still a buy one get one free promo for their new menu. So I invited my wife to eat at this place.
Have you ever eaten bakso (meatballs)? In Indonesia, my city we can see bakso is served with many choice of various types of noodles such as vermicelli. instant noodles (indomie) or rice noodles and yellow noodles. Visitors can choose the type of noodles they like.
During school days, bakso menus are generally served in school canteens. So the bakso place that I visited this time will remind us of our high school days.
On the front of this bakso eatery there is an interesting slogan there which means bakso that will make us remember the beautiful school days.

Complete with educational symbols that are usually also attached to school children's uniforms. Interesting concept in my opinion.
Look at the waiters in this place also wear typical uniforms that are usually worn by high school students in Indonesia, with a white shirt top and bluish gray pants or skirts.
The decoration of the place is also made to resemble a classroom with a picture of a world map. There are also mathematical formulas, and also a wall magazine that is usually found in schools.
The drinks we ordered came first. The presentation of these drinks is very unique. It really reminds me of school days. Iced drinks are served using plastic and straws. Really unique.
Then the drinks are hung on iron material which is also used as a table number marker.
The meatballs we ordered arrived. These meatballs called 'school principal' meatballs because the meat filling is very luxurious.
These meatballs are served with vermicelli and beef. There are also pieces of fried tofu and red crackers which are characteristic.
Don't forget to add hot chili sauce because I really like spicy food.
The meatballs served taste good and are not disappointing, as is the taste of the meatball soup which is rich in spices.
One portion of meatballs costs $1.7. With a soft beef filling in large quantities, that's a fair and reasonable price.
There's another unique thing. Giant cassava crackers! Crackers that are delicious to eat with meatball soup!
I often eat cassava crackers at home but the size is not as big as in this place. So I was very curious.
For one pack of giant cassava crackers containing 3 crackers for $0.7. Quite affordable in my opinion.
This school-age meatball eatery provides many exciting experiences here. With buy one get one free it makes me even happier!
