Hello Foodies Bee Hive Community 😊. Greetings to you from our family. Today I’m going to share to you a simple recipe that was easy to prepare for a snack that would surely love by your kids.
Yesterday, my son was craving for a pancake, and I want to add more flavor to it. As I check our kitchen, we still have bananas that was left, So I just thought of adding it to the pancake to make it more nutritious.
So, come and join me as I share my cooking blog with you today 😊.
Ingredients:
3 pcs. ripe bananas
33 grams of powdered milk (any brand)
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. sugar
Procedure:
First is to combine all the dry ingredients in a bowl (powdered milk, all-purpose flour, baking powder and sugar).
Gradually add water to the mixture until the consistency becomes a little bit watery, but not too much.
Then let it rest for 5 minutes.
Mashed the bananas using fork. Then after mashing it, add it to the pancake mixture.
Cooking time:
In a pan, heat the oil. Then add about 2 tbps. of the banana pancake. Cook each side of the mixture until it becomes golden brown. You need to monitor it because the mixture tends to overcooked and it will burn fast. Approximately I cooked each side of the mixture less than 2 minutes.
Then we have it! A very simple snack for my family. My eldest really loves this pancake I cooked for him.
While we are on our snack, someone knocked and I wasn’t expecting it was a food. They said that it was her child’s birthday today. I said my gratitude to my neighbor and happily take the food she had given to us. It was a “pancit bihon” and “ginataang monggo” or legumes that was cooked in coconut milk with rice cake. We are so blessed to have a wonderful neighbor here on our place.
Indeed, we had a feast for our snack 😊.
That’s all my dear hivers of this community. Have a wonderful day!
Sincerely,
@saijan19
