Cook the cram crum soup with beef bones and beef offal

Hi my culinary friends around the world, today, as usual, I'm sharing a home-cooked recipe that I can make myself at home. Today, I'm going to cook beef bones, beef offal, and beef fat from yesterday's meatloaf. I gathered them all to make this sauce, which we usually call "kuah cram crum" (cram crum soup). Have you ever heard of it? I'm guessing if you're not Acehnese, you've probably never heard of it, hehe.

Kuah cram crum is a typical Acehnese dish. Only the beef bones, offal, and beef fat are cooked this way, excluding the meat. The meat is usually cooked in rendang.

At our house, when approaching Ramadhan like this, apart from soup and rendang soup, you can't miss cram crum soup because it's as delicious as the meat attached to the bone is so tender, while the offal and beef fat are no less delicious and fresh if eaten with rice like this.

So, instead of being confused about cooking beef bones, offal and fat, it's better to just cook it like this, friends. This is no less delicious than beef rendang. I don't believe you, try cooking it yourself at home.

Materials used

Mixed bones and meat trimmings 1 kg
2 tbsp roasted coconut


Ground spices

2 large red chilies
3 dried chilies
1/2 tbsp coriander
1 piece of turmeric
4 shallots
3 cloves of garlic
6 bird's eye chilies
1 nutmeg
2 candlenuts


Manufacturing procedure


First


First, I started to grind the spices until smooth using a blender.

Second


Next, I sprinkled the ground spices onto the beef, which had previously been cleaned and given salt and lime to prevent it from smelling fishy.I also added roasted coconut

Third


Next, I sautéed the chopped shallots and curry leaves until they wilted and fragrant.After wilted, I put in the beef that I had coated with spices and roasted coconut.

I cook it for a while until it boils then I add a little water or adjust to taste

then I cook it again until the meat is really tender

This is the result, my cooking today is really fragrant and appetizing, we eat it with warm rice, wow, it's really delicious, the meat is tender, the bones are very sweet, the bones are still very fresh, it's perfect to enjoy during the day while the sauce is still hot, you can enjoy it straight away because if you leave it until it's really cold, it will clump together because it has a lot of fat, and you have to reheat it if you want to enjoy it.

Just look at the broth, it's very fresh, I immediately inhaled it again, because there is no coconut milk in it, that's why the taste is fresher than other meat broths, well, if you have any bones at home, please cook it like my recipe, I guarantee it will be delicious and you will like it, don't always cook meat broth with coconut milk, guys, once you cook it like this, it's also very delicious

Cram crum soup looks amazing I don't cook with offal oftten also if my region have many recipes with it, beef bones and offals surely made this soup more flavoured
