
It's really hard when I only know a few recipe that I can cook in our every day life. I only knew a few that I cook this or that twice or even thrice a week. What to do? With the limited ingredients and limited recipe, that's the only thing I can do. I have no choice. With a lot of ingredients that is not allowed for Mommy F and even for myself, I can only have a few this and that. Aigoooo. And its hard to be a cook in our home no? In my case I have to think it myself because when I asked the oldies what to make, they will just answer "bahala kana" or it's up to me. ʘ‿ʘ


So today, I didn't think much when I find out that the fish I was looking for is not available in the market. I just bought chicken even though we just had it for the entire week already. Better than nothing I guess. For the vegetable, because Carrot is kinda cheap today, 100 pesos pero kilo only, I decided to get that for Mommy F. And for myself, I decided to get string beans. I found a stall that sells a fresh one of it and it is already cut so I just get that.




Here's all the ingredients, I cut the carrots into thin and small sizes. I also cut the string beans into even smaller sized because I want them bite sized that will fit to my mouth without opening it too much, lol. Same with the kitchen. Then I marinated it with just salt, msg and pepper.


So we'll start cooking the chicken with carrot. Its just a simple stir fry? Its for Mommy F so I didn't put much into it. I started by sauteeing the aromatics, onions and garlic. Once the smells spread in the entire kitchen, we'll put immediately the chicken meat. Its a breast part by the way.


Let's give the chicken a little sear and after a few minutes we'll put a cup of water and let it simmer until the meat tenderize. So that it would he easier for the oldies to chew them. Cover and leave it.

So I'll be using the next stove to prepare my String Beans with Chicken recipe.




In a different pan, I put the fatty chicken to get its own fats. Once they turn pretty and brown, we'll sautee the garlic and onion, followed by tomatoes after 30 seconds. The. We'll mix them altogether.


And after one minute we'll put a cup of water to let the chicken tenderize. We also season it with more salt if needed ƪ(‾.‾“)┐

Cover the pan and then we wait ෆ╹ .̮ ╹ෆ


25 minutes later... It's time to put the carrots and mix it with the chicken meat. Cover it and wait for the the carrot to soften.


And same with our String Beans recipe, we'll mix it once the chicken tenderize. Cover it and we wait. I just added a small chicken cubes in here because WHY NOT. I also sprinkled pinch of sugar in it.




After 15 more minutes, its finally done! And here's my flavorful String Beans with Chicken meat. I actually want to make Adobong Sitaw but I change plan and did this instead. It's not bad, I like it actually with the tangy taste coz of the tomatoes that's not fully ripen yet. Yum yum!


And here's the other one with carrots. I served some of this to Mommy F and asked her if it taste okay, she said it's good (^∇^)ノ♪. Why i'm proud . Hihi




And so here's my lunch. A healthy one ( ◜‿◝ )♡. Ahh, but not totally a healthy one because I I ate with smoked fish, lolol - a salty smoked fish or Tinapa \(^o^)/
