It's just me and Mommy F today, Mommy D visit somewhere with her sister to shop some things. But they'll have lunch at home and so I am the one tasked to do the cooking. I can't really think of a dish to make today, I joked to Mommy F that we should just go with boiled or fried egg, lol. But she doesn't want that so I headed to the market with mama. Mommy F asked me to buy vegetable and pork, I should nixed that two she said. We usually just buy cooked vegetable dish outside in the past week but this time she want's to go with a homemade one. She also asked me to buy half kilo of fish, either Galunggong or Lagidlid.
We then started a tiring journey to the market in this crazy weather. Before we left there's actually a light drizzle, I thought it will ease up the heat if its continue but then, as you can see, it become even hotter here. Good thing there's those buildings here that I can take cover.
I'm waiting for motherbels here who bought 5 kilos of rice for her pets. And the building to where I'm waiting for her are actually saving me from Mr. Sunny's rage. This kind of heat is what's this walk made it more exhausting. Aigoooo.
But you know what's funny? Mr. Sunny decided to hide after arriving home. Lol. One moments it's sunny, then later it will be too gloomy that we thought it will rain. But it won't rain, it will be just like a gloomy emotions, and it can disappaer whenever it wants. ┐(￣ヘ￣)┌

But anyways, after getting all what we need in the market, we then walk back home. This will be a long cooking session, I want the meat to be as tender as loving someone so i'm planning to cook it for more minutes. And unfortunately, we didn't find any fresh fish in the wet market so I just bought more meat and two different kind of vegetables which is seriously so expensive ┐(´ー｀)┌.
I got one Chayote and one Cabbage, that two cost us 80 pesos, 25 for the chayote and 55 for the cabbage, really so expensive. Aigoooo. The tomatoes are free though, it's from Mama's garden.
I don't have the plan to cook this with tomatoes but Mommy F requested that I use those tomatoes before they gone bad. And as fir the meat, I marinated it for five minutes with salt, pepper and some seasonings
So I pan fried the meat first just to squeezed out the oil in the meat, I didn't put any oil in it btw. Mommy F requested to buy pork with a lil fats in it and so I did get some.
After that I put the garlic and tomato together then just stir to mix them
I added a cup of water next, I love it's color OMG. It looks like I added a tomato paste but they are a fresh tomatoes. I can't really smell them but just with the color of it is enough to tell me that it may taste good.
I cook the meat for 45 minutes and once the meat's tender I added the cabbage then. I cooked it with cabbage for 10 minutes before adding the Chayote because I want my cabbage soft and thoroughly cooked. I like it half cook but I still prefer a softer version of it. How about you?

And OMG! Mommy D said this dish is so delicious and as a humble btch, I just replied that it must be because of the six tomatoes I used in it that's why it taste good (^._.^)ﾉ
I mean, my heart is happy hearing it. ( /^ω^)/♪♪
But what kind of dish is this? I'm not sure what it is because I just cook it with whatever ingredients available. Do you know any similar dish to this?
