Patsitivity's Palate: Chicken no beer

I can't recall the exact reason why we stopped by this place. When we go out for dinner at fancy. aka expensive, restaurants, there's usually a reason to celebrate. But for this particular restaurant, the reason is blury. What I do remember is that we passed by Banilad area, got captivateed by this restaurant's vibrant and electrifying theme and found ourselves seated inside in no time.

Bonenone takes pride in its mouth-watering korean chicken, well at least, that's what my boyfriend told me. He had dined here before with his friends and colleagues. When my boyfriend says the food is good, it must be damn good as he has high standards when it comes to food. While waiting for our orders to be served, I took a look at their unique space. If other restaurants aim for well-lit and calm and cozy spaces, this one was an exemption. I find the restaurant darker than it should be, but with its wonderful play of colorful downlights, it reenergizes our soul even before the food's power take effect. We were brought exactly where we should be; I remember feeling down and sickly on this day.

I couldn't remember the exact flavor we ordered but they have a wide variety of korean boneless fried chicken but the one we got was drenched in spicy Korean sauce. The chicken melted in my mouth like ice melting in water. It was so good that every time I try to remember eating it, my mouth craves for that same chicken flavor. We had some kimchi rice and a traditional Korean soup. Apologies, I was so hungry that I forgot to take note of the names of what we ordered. The hot stew had pork, green leafy vegetables, carrots and eggs. Side dishes are also offered.

The star of the night was the stew. The serving was massive; I even brought some of these for takeaway and ate them the following day. I was very satisfied with their service and the quality of their food. As for the price, I'd say they're reasonably priced for the quality and serving size od their food. If you even see this restaurant at the end of AS Fortuna, try their chicken and their Korean stew (just show my photos so you'll get the exact stew as what we ordered). Thanks for tuning in until the very end!

Loved reading this! Honestly, I find it so relatable how some dinners just happen without a real reason but end up being the most memorable. The place sounds like it had an amazing vibe. Dark but lit up with colours. Also, I love how you trust your boyfriend’s food judgment! I'm the same too. More often than not I make my boyfriend order for me because he's just better at it

another lovely day 😊
