Indeed this must be global, this is what my wife does a lot when creating rice dishes. When I ask "What is this?" her reply as always "Food" Now don't get me wrong, I love these dishes. But when she comes up with others that look like restaurant works of art and I ask the same question, her answer "Saw it on Tik Tok". After a few attempts of a few dishes it was a resounding "NO" for me ..... Tik Tok people all over the world have weird taste buds!
