Hello Hivers! How’s your day going? I hope that you are all good today, hehehe. I would like to discuss something remarkable that occurred recently it is something that I found very grateful and happy.

The earthquake, which hit Cebu, took place and impacted a lot of families. The citizens were concerned, some were rendered homeless, and some were still terrified by the occurrence due to the incident. Nowadays, I need to remember that it is crucial to unite and support each other, particularly in such a situation. Therefore, as a group of people in the church, we felt like doing something that would make people morale uplift.

We made early preparations of lugaw, the warm and homebaked Filipino delicacy and followed San Miguel. It was not only about providing food, but being loving and caring in one of their difficult moments. We bled our lugaw out of love and put it into the heart with a happy smile.

As we passed on the lugaw we could see people, at least temporarily light up. Others thanked and some only smiled. The experience that occurred to me that day was that the acts of kindness are small but mighty. You do not have to be wealthy in order to assist other people but rather it is the kindness in your heart to do so.
Our church was also assisting others as a part of our mission, and this activity was in line with the example of Christ. In our opinion, even a simple bowl of lugaw is capable of conveying love, hope and intimacy. And indeed I felt happy in my heart that we made a difference, at least in some capacity.

This experience has shown me that just because we give food we are doing so much more we are there when a person needs it. It is community, caring, and doing something good without any supervision.
Thanks to Hivers, I would like to thank you, she read this! We should all go on to make the world a better place. We just have to continue giving each other inspiration, one small step.
