This is a journey to find Lassi. You know, I'm really curious about Lassi because I've seen it on YouTube channels from someone who loves traveling and is a foodie hunter. And of course, i really want to know about Lassi, and I get it in Bagan, Myanmar.
I am so excited because I was looking forward to it, because it turns out there are so many types of Indian food in Myanmar. It's because Myanmar and India are close? Or because of the similar cultures? But I'm so excited now.

I found you... Lassi, but Lassi led us to a restaurant that turn out to be very popular among the locals peoples of Bagan, Burma. It turn out to be a favorite spot, and I'm so happy I find this.

It's not far from Ananda Temple, and it's even on the way to Ananda Temple, really. The restaurant is very simple but warm, because the location is also beautiful. It's not a fancy restaurant, and it's very budget friendly for backpacker traveler.
You can see the menu on the chalkboard in front of restoaurant. But who have thought that would make me fall in love with a dish that intrigued me? What was it?

Taraaa.. guacamole with papadone sat in front of me. As far as I knew, this was Mexican food, right? How should I put it? It's a specialty here and one of their favorites. The guacamole looking so fresh, green, and seems like a very healthy ingredient.
Wait, I trying it. There so a smooth cream made from mash ripe avocado, chop onion, and fresh, sweet tomatoes. It had a slightly sour taste, like a hint of lime that really touched my tongue.
This guacamole turn out to be a dipping sauce used for the crispy papadone. I scoop it out with the crispy papadone and bit into it with the guacamole. You know, this was my first time trying this kind of food! This was a truly new food journey for me.

How could it taste so perfect? Even without the spiciness, the pure sweetness of the tomato, sourness, and creaminess captivated me, and one portion wasn't enough!
Perfect for the warm weather in Bagan. With the sweetness of the lassi, it was also refreshing that afternoon. I'd say this restaurant is a must-visit for food bloggers.
