Let's continue from yesterday's blog
on my walk from KLCC park to Shoppes. For this one, it is specially calling out to all FOODIE peeps. One of our goals of going to Shoppes was to visit its famous food court, which was popular for its authentic experience of Malaysian local food, non-halal though, so this food court is not so suitable for all my Malay friends.
MALAYSIA FOOD VILLAGE
by Yong Kee

The first step in, I was mesmerised by everything in there, the wall decor, the ceiling cages decorations, and even the chairs. And I heard the food did not disappoint too. So, yup, let's explore.
Ambience & surroundings
Husband went and ordered food while I busy taking photos. After all, a pleasant dining experience was affected by how nice the place was, right? This food court is so beautiful, colourful, yet not too much, every corner is designed with much thoughts.
We were greeted by these colourful litted food label aka food names. All of them are famous Malaysia Street food or our favourite local food. ⤵️

I was in love with the beautiful painting on the wall at where I was sitted. Or I purposely chose that place because of the painting located in front of me. So nice view. ⤵️

We were seated here. ⤵️

Youngest son actually wasn't feeling so comfortable at his abdominal site, so he was trying to pose.
Ceiling
So creative to use these as ceiling decorations. The whole place immediately looked classy and I-don't-know-how-to-describe. Lol...

There is old-style window at the center part and both sides of the food court, because this food court is famous of all the local favourite food which started years ago at the streets with such building, such windows.⤵️

Stalls
Stalls are nicely arranged at left and right side, so customers just needed to walk one 'n' shape to find the food of their choice.

Food
We chose our food from...
1️⃣Penang food section
Which served Penang fried oyster and Penang Fried kuey teow. As the time I am typing this, I felt like flying there to eat again. So you know the verdict. Delicious. Authentic.

2️⃣ Dimsum Stall
This one sells dimsum, steamed soup and bao. The steamed soup us highly recommended. We ordered coconut herbal soup. So flavourful and refreshing. But dimsum was so-so if compared to the famous Jalan Ipoh one. Especially the fishballs, felt like they weren't fresh anymore as well as did not have the boingy fish balls texture. Somewhat hard and tasteless.

3️⃣ Pan Mee Stall
This one was chosen by the boys. The pan mee was so delicious, I think it was one of the best we had tatsed.

4️⃣ Drinks stall
We ordered hot coffee and iced milk tea and sugarcane drink from here. They are famous for their cendol and ais-kacang, but all of us did not feel like having them..

That's all about our venture of food at Malaysia Food Village by Yong Kee at Shoppes (Four Season Place), if you are at Klang Valley and non-Malay, you may visit here, located at BI. It opens as early as breakfast time, serving our champion food of toast & coffee, as well as nasi lemak.

Thank you for reading. Stay bubbly. Stay hopeful.

❤️Love from me❤️
