There is nothing like the homemade stuff really. And the variety of stuff you can add adds to the pros of why you need to make it yourself! I add some coconut oil, as it helps to make things a bit crunchy in the end (if the temperatures don't get too hot).

I also recently had the crazy idea of adding chickpeas or lentils, baked crispy, to my muesli or granola... But this is still in the planning phase, maybe I am a bit crazy.

Oh really? I'm not sure about that! I did see a recipe for making rolls out of homemade lentil flour, now that could be fun!

I am going to try it soon, might as well try the lentil flour one as well. Will see if I can find some! I saw some studies that indicate more nutrient absorption when you eat lentils with yoghurt as well. Might be worth trying it!
