If you are a hot dog lover and enjoy experimenting with new and delicious flavors, then take a few minutes and pay attention to this one.
This hot dog is very similar to the classic version in many ways, but it is much healthier and, in my opinion, even tastier.
For this meal, which can be served as breakfast or dinner, you will need:
Soy sausage
Whole grain hot dog bun
4 small broccoli florets
4 small cauliflower florets
Red sweet pepper
Mustard, tomato juice instead of ketchup
Fresh blueberries
4 small Brussels sprouts

I sliced the bun lengthwise and started adding the ingredients on both halves.

In the meantime, I briefly boiled the soy sausage for about 1 minute in hot water.
I added one small teaspoon of mustard, cut a few strips of red pepper for decoration, then added fresh broccoli and cauliflower florets (this time I didn’t steam them). I also added a small amount of tahini spread and a tomato sauce mixed with oregano and basil.

Everything was then heated in a toaster for about 1 minute.

Quick, efficient, healthy—and very tasty.
I made it quickly, but ate it even faster. I actually made several, but didn’t manage to take photos because my family grabbed them as soon as they were ready.

Have you ever tried a vegan version of a hot dog? Feel free to share your experiences with me so we can exchange ideas.
Cheers and enjoy!
Thank you for taking the time to read this blog.
