Oh my gosh fondant is so much fun!!! I spent about 3 hours last night learning how to add and blend colours and it takes a lot more work than you thin to get it to be sooth an pliable when you take the fondant out of the bag (it's pretty damn hard and solid in the airtight bag it comes in).
The next step is adding teensy tiny drops of gel colour to the fondant that you have worked into dough texture. You will be surprised at how intense the colours are.
The red actually looked black when it came out. But didn't make red this time as it's not Valentines Day, it's Mothers Day! I stuck to a miniscule amount and when I was finished massaging it in, I achieved a stunning pink, We stuck to pastel colours.

I bought primary colours so that I could make the main colours, red yellow and blue and left a large amount of white left over as well. Then I blended the colours: blue and red to make purple and blue and yellow to make green. I had so much fun. I cant say it enough. Eventually @zakludick chased me upstairs to sleep as i totally zoned out while kneading and folding the fondant. It was amazingly calming!

Aime and I were discussing biscuits most of yesterday and 've done the bases of all the big cookies , it's now up to the extremely talented @aimeludick to add the decorations, stamps, cutouts, hand made stuff, sprinkles and glitter to make them look amazing!
This is kind of what I'm going for, without copying exactly, of course. We are gpoing to make our own orginal biscuits, but some inspiration really helps! We even bought some fondant shaping and sculpting and detail-adding tools so we could add writing or even draw on the fondant itself!
She has taken over from me as I have my nap now that my meds gave kicked in.... lol...and I'm going to have a nap.
