Good day, hivers! ✨
Nothing much happened recently and I'm still having my usual day when I juggle work and school. With all the busyness, it wouldn't mean that I couldn't spoil myself once in a while.
So, in this blog, I'll be sharing quite a few things I've done in this day and new restaurant that was introduced to me by my classmate @chaeline.gaile.

As I mentioned, I have a class on this day. Gladly, it would start at 2:00 in the afternoon. I still have time to sleep for at least 3 hours. But on this day, I have overslept and rushed to school. So, I haven't eaten my lunch before going.

When I arrived, I went straight to thr cafeteria to have a cup of coffee before attending my class. As usual, I would be having a medium-sized cup of Coffee Jelly latte. Then, I'll bring it to our classroom. It's a kind of entertainment as well, so I wouldn't fall asleep because my Instructor have an angel voice —a lullaby to my ears. 😅

After a 3-hour lecture and no lunch, the gang shared about a new restaurant they found at downtown on our way out. Since we will be passing by at downtown area anyway, I agreed to go with them because I was also starving.
From school to downtown drop off area, we still need to walk for a few turns since it's located at the back of the metro, at the entrance part of an old market that is used only by cafes and small restaurants.

This is the place now. It's not spacious and only have few tables. It even extended it's space outside to accommodate customers since few tables can only fit inside. This small restaurant is the same street with Sander's cafe on the area of an old and new market and an old Cinema theater. Despite being hidden from the people's usual route, they're in good location since they don't have much competitors within the area. They're also quite famous on Facebook and that's why my friends new about it before.

I didn't have the chance to take a decent photo of the menu itself. However, there are some display on the wall regarding some of the dishes in their menu. The ones displayed clearly are their famous dishes which are Liempo, Porkchop and Buffalo Wings.

Every dish is paired with 2 cups of rice and you can choose between java Rice and plain rice. They have twist, where you can choose your preferred sauce on your dish. For my order, I tried Liempo with 2 cups of java rice and korean sauce.
The best part here is all of the dishes they have is very affordable. On this serving, it only cost me Php 99.00 or almost $2. For the drinks, we bought a liter of Coke and divided with the group. Since the Patata couldn't join us at the moment, I brought him a takeout from the same order I had.
We added a serving of Chicharon Bulaklak which we regretted because one of my friend didn't feel well a few minutes after eating that. He said that he felt that his blood pressure rose up. I think it was also because of what he ordered since the sauce he has choosen is spicy and the dish is porkchop. On my end, I only though I was dtarving but in the end, I couldn't force my stomach to have all food. I asked for a paper box to take the leftover home instead.
Well, that was fun and a new experience for us. We shifted from eating chicken on fast food chains this time. The food is totally worth it and delicious. If ever we could swing by this area again in the future, I'll surely eat at this small restaurant.
Anyway, that's gonna be the end of this food blog. Thank you as always for the support!
