I was thinking about what I could visit when I missed the beach. There's no beach in the area where I rent, or at least not within 10-20 km.
Then, I thought about the reservoir I'd visited once before. There are plenty of places to relax.
So, I visited Cengklik Reservoir for lunch. There are several restaurants to choose from. All of them offer a peaceful, serene view of Cengklik Reservoir.
I visited a restaurant called Omah Prahu. In my opinion, the place is simple but quite neat and clean.
The greenery here makes me feel even more connected to nature. It feels peaceful.
Natural materials, stone, and wood dominate. I felt a cool atmosphere.
I chose to sit in the semi-outdoor area for lunch. However, there are also outdoor options near the reservoir.
The weather today was beautiful, not too hot. I thought I'd come on the right day. Take a look at the surroundings.
My watermelon juice arrived first. I enjoyed it while gazing out at the reservoir. There were many fishermen and anglers.
After enjoying the watermelon juice, my lunch arrived. I ordered a beef steak. I didn't expect it to be beyond my expectations.
For a $3 steak, I thought it was very good, especially since they put a lot of effort into this dish. The presentation was quite nice.
I enjoyed the meat. It was still juicy and quite tasty. It was accompanied by soft and creamy mashed potatoes. So, I really didn't regret visiting this place.
I went to the outdoor area near Cengklik Reservoir after finishing my delicious lunch.
Although this wasn't a beach, I was very happy. This place was enough to satisfy my beach cravings.
I felt a gentle breeze on my face. My eyes were also treated to the movement of aquatic plants carried by the wind from one place to another.
I also enjoyed watching the colorful fish in the pond here. It was quite exciting to watch them swim.
I felt like a child, excited to see the colorful fish.
I also had the opportunity to see two mountains from this spot. I truly felt at peace. For a moment, I rested my mind from work. What a lovely place to visit 🌸🌸🌸
