It was a misty morning, just the way I like it when walking through the woods. I can tell it's Sunday as all the weekend walkers, dog walkers, and cyclists are all out.

Love it or hate it, there was a little bit of stone stacking art along the way.

After doing a circular walk, I decided to cross over the lane and into another part of the wood as it seemed more misty.

There was a lot of large tyre tracks in the ground after all the logging they've been doing. The rainwater had collected in the tracks so it was quite wet and boggy.

Two rather tall trees had fallen down since I was last up here. A lot of their branches had fallen off as well. If a passerby can't afford a Christmas tree, I'm sure they can use a branch or two from what I saw on the floor. A few fairy lights and tinsel, perfect!

I think this is yellow stagshorn. It was the only bright thing in the wood today.

I had a short walk up the path but it had started to drizzle with rain, so I cut my walk short. There's only so many times you can get wet while out walking. It gets boring after a while!
