I’ve shown you this place before; it’s a sort of sanctuary I turn to when I want to escape the daily grind and reconnect with the things I love most: magic and literature 😄. It’s called A&B Books and Coffee, but it’s truly my "happy place" because my sister introduced me to it. She took me there for my birthday, and it has since become our shared refuge—we both share a passion for books and Harry Potter, which is exactly what you find in abundance there. Plus, not only do we spend quality time together, but we also take the opportunity to create content for her social media and my Harry Potter YouTube channel.
En otras ocasiones yo les he mostrado este lugar, es una especie de refugio hacia el cuál recurro para olvidar la rutina y encontrarme con lo que tanto me gusta: la magia y la literatura 😄 se llama A&B books and coffee, pero más allá de eso mi lugar feliz lo es porque fue mi hermana quien me hizo conocerlo, ella me llevó en una ocasión cuando yo estaba de cumpleaños y desde entonces se ha convertido en nuestro refugio, ya que ambas compartimos la misma pasión por los libros y por Harry Potter, y eso es lo que abunda en ese lugar, además no solo pasamos tiempo de calidad juntas sino que aprovechamos de crear contenido para sus redes sociales y también para mi canal de youtube de Harry Potter.
I love all the little details; the placemats provided to protect the table from food spills are designed to look like *The Daily Prophet* (the wizarding world's newspaper), but in this case, they feature a World Cup theme, blending a passion for Quidditch with soccer.
Me encantan todos los detalles que tienen, los individuales que te dan para evitar que la mesa se manche de comida están diseñados como El Diario El Profeta (el periódico del mundo mágico) pero en esta ocasión tiene motivos del mundial de futbol, fusionando la pasión por el Quidditch con el futbol.
My sister and I always enjoy spending time together—not just because we are the only sisters (we don't have any others), but because, despite having vastly different personalities (to put it in perspective: I’m Wednesday Addams and she’s Enid 😄), we perfectly complement each other. We make the perfect team, and I truly thank God for having her by my side; she is the sister I always dreamed of and prayed for—both to God and my parents—since I was an only child for nearly eleven years. We use these outings to catch up on our projects (because, even though we live together, her job is very demanding, and we only have time to spend together on her day off).
Mi hermana y yo siempre disfrutamos de pasar tiempo juntas no solo porque somos las únicas hermanas, no tenemos más, sino porque a pesar de ser extremadamente diferentes en personalidades, (para ponerlos en contexto yo soy Wednesday Addams y ella es Enid 😄) aún así cada una es el complemento de la otra, somos el equipo perfecto y de verdad que le agradezco a Dios el tenerla a mi lado, es la hermana que siempre soñé y que tanto yo le pedía a Dios y a mis padres, ya que fui hija única por casi once años. En estas salidas aprovechamos para ponernos al día con nuestros proyectos (ya que aunque vivimos juntas su trabajo es muy demandante y solo tenemos tiempo para compartir en su día libre)
Only in a place as magical as this can we Potterheads feel so at ease and in our element; every detail screams MAGIC. Holding Harry Potter’s Hogwarts acceptance letter in my own hands is absolutely magnificent—a truly immersive experience.
Solo en un lugar tan mágico como este los potterheads (Fans de Harry Potter) podemos sentirnos tan a gusto y en nuestro elemento, cada detalle grita MAGIA, sentir en mis propias manos la carta de admisión a Hogwarts de Harry Potter es absolutamente grandioso, una experiencia muy inmersiva.
I love every single detail of this place because it transports you not just to the magical atmosphere of Hogwarts, but to England—and more specifically, to all of London. By the way, I’d love to have a silhouette like that to decorate my room; Snape is my favorite character in the entire saga.
Amo todos y cada uno de los detalles de este lugar porque no solo te traslada a la atmosfera mágica de Hogwarts sino de Inglaterra y más específicamente de todo Londres. Por cierto me encantaría poder tener una silueta como esa para decorar mi habitación, es que Snape es mi personaje favorito de toda la saga.
My sister and I had a great time, even though we were sitting next to some annoying kids 😄—in fact, we laughed a lot. She also told me about a project she’s been planning for her YouTube channel, and I told her about mine; we shared ideas and suggestions, and I love that because it helps us complement each other—after all, we’re not just sisters, but best friends too 😊.
Mi hermana y yo la pasamos bien a pesar de que estábamos junto a unos niños molestos 😄 más bien nos reímos mucho, Ella también me habló de un proyecto que ha venido pensando para su canal de youtube y yo le hablé del mío, ambas compartimos ideas y sugerencias y esto me gusta porque nos ayuda a complementarnos, porque no solo somos hermanas sino las mejores amigas 😊
And, of course, there had to be a photo session wearing Hogwarts student robes; this time around, it was the turn of the Hufflepuff and Gryffindor uniforms—I love them! I’ve previously taken photos in the Ravenclaw and Slytherin ones, too. Can you see why this place drives fans wild? 😁
Y desde luego que no podía faltar la respectiva sesión de fotos con la túnica de los estudiantes de Hogwarts, en esta ocasión le tocó el turno a los uniformes de Hufflefuff y Gryffindor ¡Me encantan! en ocasiones pasadas ya me fotografíe con las correspondientes a Ravenclaw y Slytherin, ¿Entienden porqué este lugar vuelve locos a los fans? 😁
It was definitely a wonderful experience; I enjoyed it immensely, just as I do every time we go there. Spend time with your family, build bonds of closeness with your siblings—if you have them—cherish them, and don't hold back on words of affection. It is something we know, but something we Venezuelans have been acutely aware of lately: everything is so unpredictable, so we had better strengthen our family ties.
Definitivamente fue una gratísima experiencia, la disfruté muchísimo como cada vez que vamos allí. Pasen tiempo con su familia, creen lazos de complicidad con sus hermanos, si los tienen, disfrútenlos y no escatimen en palabras de cariño, es algo que sabemos pero que últimamente los venezolanos tenemos muy presente, todo es muy impredecible, así que más nos vale estrechar los alzos familiares.
