某天,一位朋友買了新音響器材,於是邀請一些人到他家,一起聆聽音響的效果,雖然我對音響並不是那麼有興趣,但是我的朋友要去,剛好我有空,也就順便去看看,一到現場,那些音響發燒友們,就開始動手把玩新玩具了,光是音響墊材怎麼墊?喇叭擺位要如何擺放?牆壁、地板、天花板的反射效果如何?都可以爭吵個半天,也可以看出他們在上面,花了不少時間及金錢。

時光飛逝,沒想到,一個下午就過去了,轉眼間,就到了吃晚餐的時間,本來大夥打算一起出去吃個合菜,比較划算,又簡單方便,結果,我們常去的那家餐廳沒開,於是,改去其中一位朋友常去的牛排館,咦!原來是我之前吃過的平價牛排館 - 人从众厚切牛排館,原來它在這邊也有分店,朋友會推薦它,也是認為它的性價比很高。

平價牛排館大多以實惠的價格提供大份量的牛排,搭配濃郁的醬汁和無限享用的湯品、飲料,成為許多人日常外食的首選,一進入店家,首先映入眼簾的是熱鬧的用餐氛圍,鐵板滋滋作響,空氣中瀰漫著牛排與奶油玉米濃湯的香氣,點餐完畢後,就開始享用自助吧的美食,玉米濃湯、牛肉湯、紅茶、奶茶及爆米花等,都能夠自由取用,讓我回想起學生時代,也是常常和同學在課餘時間,來這類牛排館大快朵頤。

以前的牛排館在湯品上,只會提供玉米濃湯,但是現在的牛排館,我吃過的幾間平價牛排館,都有提供牛肉湯,看來牛肉湯已經變成最近的標配了,雖然牛肉湯內的牛肉肉質,我們都覺得不怎麼樣,但是,一旦湯內的牛肉沒了,店家就會補,完全不怕客人吃,真有點害怕它經營不下去,不過,既然它都可以做到連鎖店的形式,應該經營上沒問題才是,而我們在吃飽喝足之後,應該就結束了今天的音響調音聚會。




One day, a friend of mine bought a new audio system and invited some people over to check out the sound quality. I'm not really that into audio equipment, but since my friend was going and I happened to be free, I decided to tag along. Once we got there, the audio enthusiasts immediately got to work playing around with the new setup. Just figuring out how to place the speaker pads, where to position the speakers, and how the walls, floor, and ceiling affected the sound reflections could spark debates that lasted for hours. It was clear they had invested a lot of time and money into this hobby.

Time flew by, and before we knew it, the whole afternoon was gone. When dinnertime rolled around, we originally planned to go out for a group meal since it would be more cost-effective and convenient. But our usual restaurant was closed, so we ended up going to a steakhouse that one of our friends frequented. Turns out, it was actually a branch of a budget steakhouse I had been to before—"Ren Cong Zhong Thick Cut Steakhouse". No wonder my friend recommended it; he thought it had great value for the price.

Budget steakhouses usually offer large portions of steak at reasonable prices, served with rich sauces and unlimited soup and drinks, making them a popular choice for everyday dining. The moment we walked in, we were greeted by a lively atmosphere—the sizzling sound of steaks on iron plates and the mouthwatering aroma of steak and creamy corn soup filled the air. After ordering, we helped ourselves to the buffet-style offerings. There was corn soup, beef soup, iced tea, milk tea, and even popcorn, all free to take. It reminded me of my student days when my classmates and I would often come to places like this after class to feast.

Back in the day, these steakhouses only served corn soup, but lately, I've noticed that most budget steakhouses now also offer beef soup. It seems like it's become a new standard. Even though the beef in the soup wasn't exactly high quality, the staff would always refill it whenever it ran out, never worrying about customers taking too much. It actually made me wonder if they could sustain their business like this. But since they've expanded into a chain, they must have a solid business model. After filling up on steak and soup, that pretty much wrapped up our audio tuning gathering for the day.
