So guys, I made a special dish that is still within a budget even though it has few more ingredients than what I usually made. I called it special coz when I cook, I don't really used much ingredients in it but this one has a few more and coz i'm nakaka luwag luwag or has spare money to spend on more, I decided to make this dish. But I am still not sure what to call this dish, it is similar to afritada and caldereta but I also added a style that I just got from Mommy D. Seriously, I can only cook today coz of her, so I have to give her my thanks for letting me watch her cook. Ehe.
Now for the ingredients,
- 360 Grams of chicken breast
- 3 pieces of small TJ hatdog
- 100 Grams potatoes
- Onion and Garlic
- Peanuts in a sachet
- Salt, Ground Pepper, and MSG
- 25 grams of Ketchup
- Two tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 piece of Siling Taiwan
- Water and Vinegar

Here's some of the few main ingredients. We have here the chili, freshly picked from the garden, the hatdog, potatoes, and the peanuts.

And here's a whole chicken breast, it is actually a chilled one but still looks fresh no? I soak it for a bit in salt water.

Next it cutting the chicken into cute size and I marinated it for a few minutes in soy sauce, ketchup, salt, pepper, chili, and msg.

After 5 minutes, I put the chicken in a pan and cook it first in high heat for 3 minutes. I let it cook there and adjusted the fire in medium heat and simmer it for 15 minutes.

I put the crushed peanuts too in the middle of it. To be honest, you can put the peanuts even later, I mean it is already cook. What I just love having this here is its crunchy texture. I love it when I eat it with the chicken meat or when I sip its sauce. Also, I didn't crush the peanuts that much, I did it just like what on the photo, see? (⌐■-■)

And here's the hatdogs, this one is already cooked. I actually steamed it beforehand. Then the potatoes that I just cut into bite size. After simmering the chicken for 15 minutes is when I added the hatdog and potatoes. We'll cook it for just another 7 minutes or until the potatoes soften and still a medium heat.

7 minutes later and its finally done! And there we have our special dish made with love and with peanuts. Seriously, is this Afritada? Only with a twist of crushed Peanuts. I don't know! Whatever. Haha. Let's just call it Chicken Keneme, lol and I would recommend this guys. Try ot once and let's hear what you say about it. Ehe

And with that, we had our hearty dish that we enjoy with steamed white rice. A soft drink would be awesome with it. Sad i'm avoiding that (≧▽≦). Should I get an apple juice? UwU
So, this dish really need more ingredients so I am not sure when will be the enxt time i'll be making it. But, I will if ever found a cheap ingredients in the market. To be honest, a red bell pepper would be good with it too but that one is so pricey. So maybe next time, I will save more and cook it with bell pepper. I'm super excited (⌐■-■)
