Hello everyone, today I'm in the kitchen cooking again because today I really want to eat Thai food because I haven't eaten it for a long time. Normally I make Isaan Thai food, but this time I want to eat real Thai food. And the menu that I want to eat this time is "Tom Kha Koog".(Shrimp curry with coconut milk) Normally this menu is Tom Kha Gai, but this time I want to eat shrimp, so I changed from chicken to shrimp. Normally, restaurants will have very few of these to order. Some restaurants have to order special because they're not on the menu Let's start making it.

Ingredients
- 8-10 large shrimps
- 100 grams of oyster mushrooms
- 1 can of coconut milk (160 ml)
- 200 ml of water
- 1-2 large pieces of galangal (fresh galangal is better)
- 1 large shallot
- 1-2 large cloves of garlic
- 4-5 tomatoes
- 4-5 kaffir lime leaves
- Lemongrass powder (fresh is better)
- 1 tablespoon of tamarind juice
- 1 tablespoon of fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon of seasoning powder
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- Fresh chili (if you don't like spicy, add it separately later)

Preparation steps
- Clean the shrimps, cut open the backs of the shrimps, remove the black veins on the backs of the shrimps, wash them thoroughly, and set aside.
- Tear the oyster mushrooms into small pieces, rinse them in water, and leave them to soak.
Cut the vegetables into small pieces. Prepare to put in the soup
Start boiling plain water, then add shallots, tomatoes, galangal, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, garlic, followed by salt. Bring to a boil.
- Then add oyster mushrooms, wait for the water to boil, then add coconut milk, season with fish sauce, seasoning powder, tamarind juice, wait for it to boil again.
- Then add the cleaned shrimps. Today we added mussels (depending on your preference), then wait for it to boil.
- When everything starts to cook, add celery leaves to enhance the aroma. Some people add coriander or parsley, depending on your preference. Prepare to serve.
Today there is an additional menu, which is fried pork with garlic and tom kha kung, which will be eaten with hot jasmine rice. When everything is ready to serve, scoop into small hot bowls. Those who like it spicy can add fresh chili or chili according to their preference.
My family doesn't eat spicy, so we pounded the chili separately and added it later. And this is the tom kha kung menu, a Thai dish that I made this time. The ingredients were all available, but the taste came out good and delicious.
I like it very much. If anyone wants to follow along, try it out, I guarantee you'll like it. I hope everyone likes my cooking posts. Thank you for following. Have a nice day.
