It's my parents' 33rd wedding anniversary. So to celebrate this special occasion, we gathered at Sawadee.
This is a Thai restaurant that offers a relaxing atmosphere and delicious Thai cuisine.
We decided to head here for lunch, so it's so hot outside.
But thankfully, we were led to their new air-conditioned room, which was a welcome relief from the suffocating heat.
As we settled in, the aroma of Thai dishes teased our senses.
And so we ordered a variety of dishes, from spicy tom yum soup to savory yam woon sen, and of course, the star of the show: mouthwatering sisig.
As we sat down, we enjoyed our meal without the distraction of the heat.
We savored each bite, loving the bold flavors and spices.
Not until... My Dad, being the romantic that he is, decided to feed my mom a spoonful of tom yum soup.
Their eyes are locked in a loving gaze. 🥰
Uwu. I witnessed a sweet moment between my parents. 🤭
It was a small gesture, but it spoke volumes about their love and care for each other.
I couldn't help but feel glad, to see my parents still so in love after 33 years of marriage.
As we were filled with good food, we spent a few moments outside.
We snapped photos of the red chair, from my lovely parents to my sons Ryzen and Aiden.
The moment was intimate, yet simple.
My Dad shows his love and affection for my Mom.
It was a beautiful display of their enduring bond, and I felt grateful to have such loving parents.
That celebration at Sawadee was a perfect combination of the delicious Thai cuisine, warm atmosphere, and quality time with loved ones.
The food played a big part in making it a special day.
And I'm grateful for the experience.
I can't wait for many more celebrations together.
Until our next special day... Buh-bye. 👋🥰
