As soon as I walked in, I was like, "Whoa, this place is poppin'!" Because, well, the four walls of it were painted with bright neon, artsy things that, in sum, gave them this amazing playfulness. It's like one of those places you know straight away are going to be enjoyable. Anything just screamed fun, from upbeat music to its cool and unique vibe. It’s not all uptight or overly fancy, just a great place to relax and eat to your heart’s content.
Now, the best part of the meal is, of course, the food. It's all you can eat Korean BBQ; they've got everything set up so you can cook your own meat right there at your table. I'm talking pork belly, marinated pork, beef—basically, all the good stuff. They bring it out fresh, and you get to grill it just the way you like. I love the sound of meat sizzling on the grill.
There is just something so satisfying about watching it cook and then biting into that juicy goodness. But one of the best things I like here are the sauces. People working in Colorful Samgyupsal were very attentive. They would come and check, refill anything you need, and even help guide you on the grilling stuff. Still, it wasn't an intrusive type where you just feel that they were looming over your head; it's like, 'There you go; this is what we do for you in case you need them. Which, again, was very much appreciated by me.
The place itself is also comfortable. The chairs are comfortable, and the tables are far enough apart you're not bumping elbows with the next group in. It's perfect, whether you're there with a big squad or just a few people.
