MY CARROT AREPAS [ENG/ESP]

There's nothing like starting the day with a delicious breakfast that's easy and practical to make, without lots of ingredients. For those who like to eat a good arepa, here's how to prepare them with vegetables so you can continue to eat healthily.


INGREDIENTS:👇

  • 1 small carrot
  • 1/2 cup gluten-free bread flour
  • Salt and water

PREPARATION:


The first thing we'll do is wash our carrot thoroughly, peel it, and then grate it like this.👇

Then we add the flour, with a pinch of salt, to give it flavor.

Finally, add the water little by little until you achieve the right consistency, knead, and you will have your dough. 👇

Now that our dough is ready, all that's left is to shape our arepas. With this amount, you can make three mini arepas.

Once our arepas are ready, we can taste them; you can accompany them with whatever you like, such as a delicious and simple egg omelet. 😋

Be careful not to burn them; I burned mine a little bit, but not too much. The good thing about this combination is that our dough is super soft on the inside.

SPANISH VERSION


Nada como empezar el día con un rico desayuno, fácil y práctico, sin muchos ingredientes, y para los que les gusta comerse su buena arepa, aquí les traigo esta forma de prepararlas, con vegetales, para que sigas nutriéndote de forma saludable.


INGREDIENTES:👇

  • 1 zanahoria pequeña
  • 1/2 taza de harina pan sin gluten
  • sal y agua

PREPARACIÓN:


Lo primero que haremos es lavar bien nuestra zanahoria, pelarla, para luego rallarla de esta forma.👇

Luego le añadimos la harina, con un toque de sal, para darle gusto.

Finalmente, el agua se la vamos agregando poco a poco hasta lograr esa consistencia, amasamos, y nos queda nuestra masa de esta manera. 👇

Ya con nuestra masa lista, solo nos queda darle forma a nuestras arepas, con esta cantidad, salen tres mini arepas.

Listas nuestras arepas, procedemos a degustar; pueden acompañarlas con lo que quieran, como una rica y sencilla tortilla de huevo. 😋

Pendientes de que no se les queme; a mí se me paso un poquito no mas jejeje, pero no mucho, lo bueno, de esta combinación es que nuestra masa queda super suave por dentro.

Este es mi menú para hoy; espero se animen a preparar sus ricas arepas, de esta forma, no se trata de limitar la harina, sino de saber combinarla con nuestros vegetales para darle esa fibra y esa nutricion saludable.
