One of my favorite dishes to make is a pasta bolognese. Although quite simple, it can still turn out to be a failure. Some time ago I decided to make it happen again and photograph some of the proccess up to post it here. Been a long while since my last food related post.
On this photo you can see all the ingredients I had to cook it.
- Spaghetti
- Red onion
- Dried basil, Granulated gralic, Oregano, Pepper, Salt
- Bolognese sauce
- Minced meat
- Grated cheese
- Red wine
Like most of the food I make, I start with cutting red onion. I use it in most of my dishes. Consider me a big fan of onion.
I didn't take photos of all the individual steps but here I let onion fry on the hot pan for a couple of minutes so it could soften and then added the minced meat.
Spaghetti with salt to a separate pot and the meat with onion is ready.
Here I added the bolognese sauce to the pan with pepper and about 3 table spoonful of red wine. The wine gives it a nice balancing taste. Meanwhile the spaghetti is also ready and drained.
Now everything is ready to be served. On the plate I also added the other spices like oregano, basil and grated cheese. Boom, its done and look delicious!
I can confirm that it tasted just as delicious. I told earlier that this dish can also fail but it's more due to the type of bolognese sauce. Different options in the store taste different. One time I got a souce that was really sour tasting and I did not like the end result with it.
Well, I hope, I was able to make your stomach growl with these photos, it happened to me just now heh😄.
