Today i would like to share Tutti Frutti Cake it is a soft, sponge and moist eggless cake recipe. It is light Indian cake made with all purpose flour, tutti frutti, powdered sugar and flavorings. kids always like any cake recipes, but with eggless tutti frutti cake they would enjoy and crave for more and more. 'm non baker, not at all good at baking, baking required perfect measurement and ratio of the ingredients, one silky mistake can spoil your recipe, so whenever i do baking, i always scare untill for the final outcome But this time my cake came out perfect, delicious spongy. Traditionally tutti frutti cake recipes are prepared with egg yolk which in turn results in a soft and fluffy cake as in India auspicious festival is going on , so i didn't used eggs, so this recipe does not contain egg and is mainly prepared with yogurt and vanilla essence.

Ingredients 📃


• ¾ cup curd.
• ½ cup oil.
• ¾ cup sugar Powder.
• 1 tbsp vanilla extract.
• 1½ cup maida(all Purpose flour).
• ¼ tsp baking soda.
• 1 tsp baking powder.
• ¼ cup tutti frutti.
• ¾ cup of Milk.
• Pinch of Salt.

firstly, in a mixing bowl take a curd as per quantity mentioned above.

further sieve maida, use the sieve is important to avoid the lumps.

Add oil or melted butter.

With a whisk, stir briskly for 2 to 3 minutes.

Add vanilla extra. mix well forming thick flowing consistency batter.

add the powered sugar and baking soda as per measurement mentioned above.

Add the tutti frutti.

Be quick and begin to mix gently to a smooth batter. Mix with light pressure from your hands on the whisk.


further, transfer the cake batter into the cake mould.

make sure to grease the mould with butter to avoid sticking or line up the butter paper at bottom of tray(optional) but greasing the mould is mandatory.

Dust some dry all-purpose flour to avoid the sticking from the bottom.

pour the cake batter into the mould, level up the batter and pat the tray twice to remove the air incorporated into the batter.

preheat your oven, Bake the cake 180 degree celsius, Place the cake pan in the oven. Bake the cake atleast 30 minutes or untill cake is baked well.

Tip: Baking time will vary depending on the temperature conditions of the oven and most importantly Remember not to open the oven door in between the baking processes, Opening the oven door many times will cause the cake to sink in the center.

Check with a help of fork or knife and it should come out clean, which means your cake is ready no more baking is required otherwise bake it for another 5-10 minutes.

When the cake has completely cooled to room temperature, Gently tap the bottom of the cake pan and remove the Tutti Frutti Cake.
