Today i would like to share the recipe of Poha it is one of simplest yet essential morning breakfast recipes. It is prepared with thick or medium poha(Flattened Rice) with Veggies of your choice and Common Indian Spices. There are many different recipes for making poha, and every single time I've made it before, I made it in a different style. you can easily prepare it with the ingredients available at home. Poha is such a common breakfast in India that you will find it in the buffet even if you go to a five-star hotel. Everyone likes to eat poha because it is almost oil-free and healthy. Try this recipe. I am sure you will definitely like it.

Ingredients 📃
• 2½ cup poha.
• 2 tbsp oil.
• 1 tsp of Cumin.
• Pinch of asafoetida.
• 2 chopped Green chilli.
• 1 Chopped onion.
• ½ tsp turmeric.
• 1 tsp salt.
• 1 tsp sugar.
Process 👨🏻🍳

Firstly, place a sieve in a bowl and rinse of poha till the water runs clean. Do not soak the poha in water. Keep the poha aside for 5 minutes, and it will become non-sticky and soft.

Heat the oil in the Kadai/Pan, add cumin Seeds, asafoetida, saute it untill it starts crackling. Add Chopped Onion & Capsicum, saute it untill it get tansculent.

Add the Boiled Corn, Saute it for a Second.

Add the chopped tomato, cooked it untill it get Soft.

Lower the flame, Now add ½ turmeric, salt,sugar and saute till the spices turn aromatic.

Now add in poha and mix gently.Cover and simmer for 5 minutes, or until the poha is cooked fully.

Your Poha is ready to serve, enjoy it with your Morning Tea or Coffee.
