Today I would like to share Onion Paratha recipe commonly known as Pyaj ka parantha which is made with
stuffing wheat dough with finely chopped onions, green chilies, coriander and flavour of spices, ideally suited for daily lunch or breakfast which is enjoyed with pickle, curd or sauce of your choice. There are myriad of paratha recipe but this onion Paratha is easy and quick recipe with less ingredients. The main challenging part of making Parantha is perfectly thin rolling dough, which is not going to easy in first trail, as 'm indian rolling dough is easy for us, but once you get trick then you will become the Partha lover for sure.

Ingredients 📃


• 2 cup of Wheat whole.
• 1 chopped onion.
• 2 chopped Green chilli.
• ½ tbsp of Kathuri Methi.
• 3-4 chopped cloves of Garlic.
• ½ tsp chilli powder.
• ¼ tsp ajwain(carom seeds).
• ½ tsp salt.
• water, for kneading
• 2 tsp oil.
• oil for Roasting.


Process 👨🏻‍🍳

In a big vessel, take 2 cups of wheat and 1 tbsp of Oil.

Add Chopped onion, chopped Garlic, green chilli, red chilli powder, kathuri Methi and salt.

mix well making sure everything is well combined.

Add water as required and knead to a smooth and soft dough.

further, add 2 tsp oil and grease the dough well.

cover and rest for 2-3 minutes.

now pinch a small ball sized dough.
dust with wheat flour and flatten slightly.

now on a hot tawa place the rolled paratha and cook for a minute.

when the base is partly cooked, flip it to another side or untill it get brown dot overall the paratha.

Spread the oil all over the paratha with the help of spoon.

Press gentle from both side to cook it well.

flip again once or twice till both the sides are cooked properly.

Serve the Hot onion paratha with fresh yogurt or flavored curd or Chutney or sauce of your choice

make sure the oil is olive extra virgin, other types are just a real bomb for the body, apart from that your recipe is very healthy

i totally agree with you brother, i had used Mustard oil which is harvested from my own Farm...
